As the Health and Safety Lead, you will play a pivotal role in increasing the commitment to putting Health and Safety at the forefront of the business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategy, reporting and initiatives that align with our values and contribute to our long-term success.

Description

As the Health & Safety Lead you will be responsible for:

Overseeing the implementation of HSE policies across the company's property portfolio
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
Creating and developing a HSE Culture across the business
Conducting regular site inspections and audits
Providing HSE training and awareness programs to staff
Investigating and reporting on HSE incidents
Developing and implementing HSE strategies and initiatives
Liaising with regulatory bodies
Regularly reviewing and updating HSE policies and proceduresProfile

A successful Health & Safety Lead should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

A degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and knowledge of ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO14001 and best practices
Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager or a similar role, with a strong NEBOSH background.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Proficient in risk assessment and incident reporting
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work well as part of a team and to lead and motivate othersJob Offer
