Opportunity for an experienced Shift Engineer to join a stable, growing, fast-paced technology business and play an integral part in delivering best in class production output.
As part of an experienced engineering team you will ensure maintenance plans are produced in line with production requirements, attend machine break downs when required and support the introduction of new equipment, processes and new products.
What you’ll be doing:
* Co-ordinate engineering resources to ensure 100% availability of machinery
* Manage and execute machinery maintenance plans
* Attend machine breakdown and co-ordinate repairs
* Provide input in to machinery requirements for new products and support new machinery introduction
* Undertake continuous improvement activities
* Ensure safety of all machinery, equipment and procedures
What you’ll have:
* Relevant engineering qualification such as apprenticeship or HNC
* Experience maintaining and optimising highly automated production machinery
* Hands on maintenance skills and experience
* Proven experience managing small maintenance team, contractors, machine vendors etc
* Documentation and report writing skills
Salary: £45K (including S/A) + Pension + Private Medical
Shifts: Early and Late 8 hour shifts, early Friday finish and NO NIGHTS
