Our prestigious client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers with over 30 years in the bulk liquid storage tank industry. The range of products is extremely diverse and always of top-quality which sets them apart from all competitors. They manufacture tanks in plastic or steel and can adapt the tanks to meet client’s specifications while offering sound technical support and advice to customers.

They are now looking to recruit a Sales Manager to head up the existing team. All candidates must have experience of leading and developing sales teams.

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of sales professionals covering the UK and European market. This diverse role will include management and reporting, nurturing and developing key accounts and identifying new income streams.

They are looking for a Sales manager with proven management experience who strives to lead by example. You will require a strong business acumen and strategic thinking, as well as experience in forecasting revenue and setting targets/budgets.

The main responsibilities and duties of this role are:

* Develop and execute sales targets, regularly monitoring individual/team performance

* Introduce and Manage KPIs in line with company sales targets

* Reporting and Presenting Statistics to Management, Sales & Marketing

* Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team

* Coordinating with Marketing on Lead Generation

* Develop and Manage Key Accounts to increase spend

* Develop your sales team through motivation, counselling and product knowledge education

* Development and execution of growth plans and call targets for existing customers, helping maintain/expand existing sales levels

* Understand the varying types of our customer base and how they interact with our products & services

* Planning and conducting regular sales meetings

The ideal candidate will:

* Have proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies

* Have previous experience in managing and directing/motivating a sales team

* Be experienced and dedicated to customer relationship management and delivery great service

* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Be competent in analysing, reporting and presenting data to colleagues

* Previous experience using SAP/Hubspot will put candidates at an advantage
