Our Midlands division has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Progressor to join the team. You will take full responsibility for the running of sales from point of sale to exchange.

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the stages of the conveyance process, an understanding of part exchange, Help to Buy and shared ownership will be beneficial also.

It is essential that you can work both independently and as part of a team and be confident when dealing with people at all levels face to face, over the telephone and in writing.

Your duties will include:

* To be the point of contact for purchasers from reservation to completion of purchase

* To take purchasers through the conveyance process, breaking down barriers and achieving swift exchanges

* To achieve agreed sales targets including progressing off plan sales.

* To communicate promptly and pro-actively with customers

* To liaise with the build team and sales management team to provide completion dates

* To serve notices to complete to our purchaser’s solicitors and ensure funds are requested and available

* To provide regular reports on progress

* To meet all necessary legal and regulatory requirements

* To capture customer feedback for further analysis

* To share responsibility for handover to purchasers on the day of completion with the Sales Offices

* To liaise with sales advisors and sales managers on potential px/smoothmove transactions

* Build rapport and instruct local agents to provide valuations for part exchange

* Progress part exchange transactions from point of sale to completion

* Visit all part exchange properties prior to purchase

* Maintenance of stock part exchange properties to include liaison with cleaners and gardeners

Skills you will need:

* Understanding of the home buying process

* Understanding of the mortgage market and conveyancing requirements

* Understanding the barriers within the process and how to overcome them

* Organisational skills

* Excellent customer service skills, including great interpersonal skills

* Excellent IT Skills

* A tenacious and ‘never give up’ attitude
