Job Title: Associate Design Engineer (Structural & Civil Engineering)

Location: Leicester

Salary Range: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Role Overview:

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design process, ensuring the integrity, safety, and functionality of our projects. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, architects, clients, and contractors to deliver cutting-edge solutions that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the design process from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.

* Conduct structural analysis and calculations to develop safe and efficient designs.

* Utilize your expertise in civil engineering to address site-specific challenges and optimize project outcomes.

* Produce detailed technical drawings, reports, and documentation using industry-standard software.

* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional development and growth.

* Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

* Proven experience (5-10) in structural and civil engineering roles, with a focus on design and analysis.

* Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or similar.

* Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

* Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it is desirable.

* Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is advantageous.
