We are currently seeking a diligent Water Hygiene Engineer to carry out a variety of tasks including Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, and minor plumbing and electro/mechanical duties, all tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include completing routine monitoring tasks in accordance with HSG274 pt2 and the Approved Code of Practice ACOP L8. This role entails mobility, requiring travel to client sites to ensure compliance. Tasks will encompass temperature monitoring, outlet/showerhead descales, CWST inspections, Legionella/microbiological sampling, and closed system analysis from heating and chilled water systems. A clean driving license is essential for this role.
You will be expected to communicate effectively with the service desk on a daily basis, ensuring efficient task completion in line with company processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills. Additionally, maintaining adequate stocks of chemicals and materials, as well as ensuring the security, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of equipment, are crucial aspects of this role.
Previous experience within the water compliance industry is a fundamental requirement. The ideal serve as an ambassador for the business while visiting client sites. Basic IT proficiency, preferably with the Microsoft package, is necessary. Effective communication skills are essential across all facets of this role, and the ability to perform well under pressure is a must.
