HGV Class 2 Driver (PT)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Coventry area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team part time.

Shifts available:

- Friday Nights - 20:00pm until 08:00am

-Sunday Nights - 20:00pm until 08:00am

- Sunday Days - 06:00am - 12:00pm

Pay Rate: Days- £12.87, rising to £13.52 after 12 weeks/ Nights - £14.71, rising to £15.15 after 12 weeks.

Location: Coventry, CV3.

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

· Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.

· Emphasising safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.

· Typically completing 3 to 4 runs on an average.

· Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.

· Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

· Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.
