Are you an experienced Electrically Bias Engineer? Have you got experience working in a Heavy Engineering environment such as refractory, forging or foundry? Then we might have the perfect opportunity for you! We are recruiting for a thriving company based within 5 miles of Pensnett Trading Estate who are looking to appoint an Electrically strong Maintenance Engineer to the team on a permanent basis.
What will your day to day activities as an Electrically Strong Maintenance Engineer include?
The role, based in the Gornal/Brierley Hill/Dudley area, will require the successful candidate to work in a team responding to breakdowns and ensure that all aspects of maintenance are carried out. This role will ensure the smooth running of the production plant. This role will initially start on a 6am-2pm shift and will stay on this for the foreseeable forecasted production – however this role does pose the potential to change to a 6am-2pm, 2pm – 10pm rotating shift so will require someone with the flexibility to do this.
What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?
Electrical knowledge and experience is essential.
Any PLC knowledge would be desirable but not essential.
Mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic experience is desirable but not essential
Experience working in a foundry/refractory or similar environment.
Good level of physical fitness.
Flexible to move across to rotating shifts when required
Happy working in a smaller team environment.
Good work ethic, punctual and reliable.
What's on offer?
Salary from £31,000 - £45,000 depending on experience (salary will be dependent on a skills matrix).
