We have a genuinely unique career opportunity with an accountancy firm, based within a short commute of Lutterworth, Rugby and Hinckley.

This firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors, in lovely offices, which are air-conditioned / heated and in a rural location with on-site parking.

They’re looking to expand the team and this is a completely open book of opportunity. The role could be FT/PT, so would suit someone returning to work or someone wanting to get their feet under a desk for a long-term opportunity. Qualified or not, but the preference is for someone who’s already got experience in an accounts practice office.

Pay and holidays are both flexible, this firm are happy for employees to take additional holiday if they have hit their billing target and their salaries will also be reviewed if you are more productive.

The firm is growing with an acquisition likely which will add to the workload.

Part time / full time is fine – they can do whatever hours suit the right person.

The firm are happy to teach or train a little, but need people with experience.

In terms of what the firm need, you should ideally be able to post up a set of accounts, send to review for finalisation, do associated bookkeeping / tax or the firm can design the job around your skills and preferences, with the firm using IRIS, quickbooks, Xero, freeagent, kashflow, DEXT etc.

The firm tend to work 9-5 Monday to Thursday, with 45 mins lunch, finishing at 1.30pm on a Friday. They rarely if ever work Friday afternoons, unless there is more work. There is loads of flexibility on how you work your hours – you can flex your hours and how it works, but it is officially a 32-33 hour week. If the weather is good for example, they may suggest everyone goes home and hours can be done another time!
