We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our dynamic and evolving company. In this role, you will be the expert for the production line, managing and developing our cell technicians and serving as their training facilitator. You will collaborate with customers, external suppliers, internal stakeholders, and training/governance bodies. This position is based in, with occasional travel required to manufacturing plants, supplier sites, and customer facilities. Role Summary

Act as the process expert for the entire assembly and packaging system
Ensure the system achieves a target output rate of (Apply online only) parts/hr with an overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) of >90%
Manage, train, and develop the technicians in the Business Unit
Serve as the training facilitator for technical and system aspects of the process (hands-on)
Lead fault finding activities on the process using a structured approach
Champion process optimisation and continuous improvement activities
Conduct mould tool trials and commissioning activities, reporting through agreed means
Manage MLA/EMA tool and system change-overs, ensuring safety and process capability are maintained (Note: this links to system OEE and the installed capacity of the machine)
Support with eAPQP and control plans, ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of processes
Assist with the development and refinement of Process FMEA's (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
Support with VSM, process flow, and Standard Work
Identify and address problems and root causes
Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain process adherence and prevent non-conformities related to product, process, or system
Write reports and present progress on projects in both internal and external meetings
Undertake special projects as required

Skills/Knowledge Required

At least 4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Ideally, experience in high-volume/high-speed production, with a preference for injection moulding and materials conversion
Ability to thrive in a diverse and dynamic environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively present complex data and use it to drive decisions and process control specifications
Experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving tools
Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9000, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, and Health, Safety, and Environmental practises
Understanding of cost and financial impacts
Team player with the ability to meet deadlines
Hold a valid full driving licence
