COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER – NEG SALARY (DOE) - SHIRLEY

Cowell Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our client in their search for a Commercial Account Handler based in branch.

Due to expansion, an exciting position has become available for a Commercial Account Handler to join our friendly and professional team. What we are looking for:

· Previous experience in Commercial Lines (Desirable, however we will consider candidates with a Personal Lines or strong sales background)

· You will have experience winning new business and building long lasting relationships with B2B clients.

· You must have a passion for developing business through marketing, community engagement, networking, client meetings, just to name a few – the stronger our presence in the market, the more successful you will be.

· You will be tenacious and have a business curiosity, as this will allow you to identify and explore new business opportunities to drive the best possible outcome for our clients

· You are willing to learn, as every day will be different. This is a great opportunity to progress your career as a Commercial Account Executive and become further your professional qualifications.

· You are consultative, have the ability to question effectively and will be an active listener, you will take the time to fully understand client requirements and be able to advise on products and solutions – always identifying opportunities, but more importantly, looking for a ‘path to yes’

· Experienced in hitting targets and bringing in new business as well as maintaining existing business relationships

· New business Sales, adjustments and renewals of contracts of insurance

· Achievement of Company KPI and Business Targets

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· High levels of customer care and service, professional providing quality service and advice.

· Strong Analytical skills

· Awareness of the insurance market principles and practice

· Awareness of FCA and other regulations

· Experience in working in a regulated environment

· CERT CII qualified or working towards (not essential)

· Strong fact finding and the ability to convey complex information to customers

· Desire to achieve targets

· Pro-active and analytical approach

· Ability to work closely and flexibly with other team members

· Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity and commitment

· Flexible and adaptable

Main duties (but not limited to)

· Providing quotations on all Commercial product lines, including Commercial Insurance, with customers demands and needs.

· Arranging client new business and renewal meetings

· New business, Mid-term adjustments, issuance and renewals

· Lapses and cancellations

· Liaising and negotiating with Insurers and Underwriters on terms and conditions for premiums and terms.

· Arranging finance agreements, processing payments

· Liaising with insurers and underwriters on terms and endorsements

· Sales, customers service and teamwork

· Working to targets and deadlines
