You will like

The Design Engineer job role itself where you will provide an accurate and timely design solution to all storage requirements for internal & external customers, More specifically:

Evaluate technical solutions to meet customer requirements
Produce high-quality drawings and layouts using CAD packages
Produce accurate bill of materials for system entry
Ensure all designs comply to CDM rules and SEMA/FEM codes of practice
Increasing sales through prompt design costings
Provide technical assistance to all internal and external stakeholders

You will have

To be successful as a Design Engineer, you will have a healthy mix of the following:

Essential:

Drawing software (AutoCAD packages).
Competent IT user including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Minimum GCSE A-C (pre 2018) or 9-4 (from 2018) in English, Science and Maths.
Level 3 or above qualification in general engineering.

Desirable:

Previous industry knowledge, including pallet racking, shelving and mezzanine.
Good understanding of CDM 2015 regulations

• Revit BIM modelling experience
