Motor Vehicle Technician - Jaguar Land Rover Specialist
Keighley, West Yorkshire
£30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year depending on experience and qualifications
Overview: The company is an independent Jaguar Land Rover specialist based in Keighley, West Yorkshire. We are currently seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repair. While previous Jaguar Land Rover involvement would be preferred, it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct a wide range of diagnostics, servicing, and repair work on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.
* Utilise technical knowledge effectively, including the use of special tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Analyse job cards and diagnostic information meticulously to understand the vehicle's condition and required repairs.
* Communicate effectively with other team members about vehicles and tasks within the workshop.
* Demonstrate good problem-solving techniques and initiative to ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
* Share ideas for continuous improvement and innovation within the workshop environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on Jaguar Land Rover vehicles preferred.
* City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence required.
* Must have a good selection of own general hand tools.
* Self-motivated, hardworking, punctual, and able to work tidily, professionally, and collaboratively as part of a team.
