Position: Social Worker

Salary: £35 per hour

Rotherham Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Localities Children Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children and families in Rotherham, promoting their well-being and safeguarding their rights.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in assigned localities.
Providing support, intervention, and advocacy to ensure the safety and welfare of children.
Collaborating with multi-agency teams, including health, education, and social care professionals.
Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and adapt support as needed.Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with experience in children's services.
Registered with Social Work England (or eligible for registration).
Knowledge of child protection procedures, legislation, and best practices.
Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.Benefits:
