With increasing capability, capacity, and investment in people through the Sharing in Growth coaching and mentoring programme, there is a need to expand their dynamic, target driven and customer care centric Sales Team.
Roles & Responsibilities
*
Playing a vital role in a dynamic sales team. The motivated group of salespeople are target driven and support each other in achieving individual development and team objectives, targets, and aspirations.
*
To promote, develop and increase sales with the existing customer base and build new business.
Main Duties
*
Account Management – Maintaining and increasing existing accounts, including preparing and submitting quotations and following up the opportunity with the customer.
*
Business Development – Generating new leads and opportunities, nurturing and converting contacts information into new customers.
*
Achieving and exceeding sales targets and contributing to departmental objectives.
*
Provide the wider department with market feedback to aid future decision making.
*
Seek out and convert opportunities into sales of added value requirements, for example machined components.
*
Maintaining and updating the CRM system to enable review of customer trends, and opportunities.
*
Occasional travel within the UK (may include overnight stays) to meet with customers and attend trade shows.
*
Contribute towards weekly and monthly forecasting.
Essential Skills/Experience
*
Experience in working in a metal stockholding, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
*
Have an initiative-taking approach to sales and optimise the potential of both new and existing customers. This will require a proven history in the sales environment.
*
Enjoys a challenge and has enthusiasm to build and create excellent business connections.
*
Full clean driving licence

Usual Hours of Work
*
Mon – Friday 9am to 5pm (1-hour lunch)
*
