Teacher of English responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English Literature and Language lessons.
To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
Liaise with parents, staff, and students, and maintain a good relationship with all parties.
Manage high levels of student attainment through strong leadership and supervision.
To continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods.
Teacher of English Requirements:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Degree in English.
Possess the ability to inspire and motivate students to think critically.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Provide a differentiated learning experience that ensures all students make progress.
Engage students in a manner that will challenge them to grow and learn.
Have a proven track record of improving attainment levels at GCSE for English Literature and Language.

Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.
