Job Description
Essential Job Functions
Provide weekend operation support through various tasks as needed, including:Assessing general needs during the program and be able to address those needs in an appropriate way
Communicating effectively with volunteers and parents
Working with other staff to set-up and tear-down
Providing evaluation of situations and making appropriate decisions for issues regarding parents and staffing
Coordination of the necessary staffing requirements for weekend services:Recruiting, building and maintaining volunteers
Contacting potential and regular volunteers by telephone and email
Obtaining and maintaining volunteer information
Helping forecast the needs of the Special Needs ministry in regards to volunteer staffing
Providing input regarding the design and implementation of volunteer training
Assisting in the execution of various department and church events, including but not limited to:Dad/Daughter Dinner
Volunteer Appreciation
Easter
Christmas Eve
