The Field Service Engineer is responsible for delivering exceptional technical support, maintenance, installation, and customer training services for TOMRA's cutting-edge recycling and waste sorting equipment. This role aims to ensure the seamless operation of TOMRA's solutions, maximize equipment performance, and enhance customer satisfaction. 
Primary Job Functions 
Install and modify equipment at customer sites, ensuring functionality meets specifications.
Conduct comprehensive tuning and setup encompassing mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical aspects.
Evaluate machine performance to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
Independently diagnose and resolve equipment issues, ensuring prompt resolution or clear communication of plans and costs.
Enhance operational efficiency through problem-solving and preventive maintenance efforts.
Collaborate with engineering to improve work instructions and assist in document creation.
Maintain proactive communication with sales leadership, identifying sales opportunities and addressing customer concerns.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support training of new Field Service Engineers.
Address and escalate customer complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
Advocate for customer needs to improve products, systems, and services, including providing customer training as required.
