Role Summary:
In this role, you’ll be tasked with performing essential duties as a part of both the Iontra research team and the product development team. You’ll be responsible for implementing and consistently maintaining a disciplined and planned set of daily and ad-hoc processes and laboratory activities described below in order to advance our technologies and applications. This is a full-time onsite role located in our Denver, CO office in a fast-paced startup environment.
Salary Range: $78k - $110k (salary is based on education, experience, skillset, and market value).
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop environmental, health and safety procedures/plan for all areas of the company
Acts as company’s Safety Officer
Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics
Ensure all OSHA and internal safety procedures are being followed throughout the company
Develops and executes monthly OSHA and internal safety inspections to company with regulations and standards
Ensure that safety data sheets (SDS) are accurate, maintained, and accessible in all areas
Maintain records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required
You’ll Need These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field as required
5 years of related experience
In lieu of degree, additional years of experience may suffice
Willingness to learn and quickly come up to speed on environmental regulations and policies relevant to Colorado
Desired Qualifications:
Battery experience
NFPA70E certificate
