Your purpose: 
We are looking for a knowledgeable Part-Time Payroll Specialist to process and manage the bi-weekly payroll, and process all payroll journal entries in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. You will be able to use our payroll software with accuracy and efficiency for 20-25 hours per week. 
This role will report directly to the People Manager. 
To nail your job you will: 
Responsible for upholding company Mission, Vision and Values 
Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salary changes, benefit updates, garnishments, taxes, and other earnings/deductions in partnership with TriNet (PEO) and Naked Wines People Team
Help oversee timesheet approvals from managers
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and other earnings/deductions
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll entries and transactions
Complete the applicable journal entries and accruals (e.g. bonus, PTO, etc.) following payroll processing
Help address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and managers
Prepare any requested payroll reports for management on an as-needed basis
Other tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned.

Requirements
One – two years of experience preferred, but not required.
Proven experience as a payroll specialist
Must be able to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays during payroll processing weeks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in the use of MS Office and G-Suite
Ability to keep sensitive employee information confidential
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
Superior organization and recordkeeping skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Able to work legally in the United States. (Work authorization sponsorship is not provided for this role by Naked Wines)
Experience in payroll and accounts payable

$30-$33/ hour
Annual Bonus
