Financial Controller

Vitality is looking for a Financial Controller to assume responsibility for and manage the day-to-day accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, finance compliance and financial management of the Vitality USA division within Vitality Group.
Key Outputs may include but are not limited to:
Accurate, timely, technically proficient accounting records in the form of informative financial reporting to the CEO of Vitality USA, and CFO of Vitality Group
Accurate budgeting and forecasting of Vitality USA that espouses and balances the values of optimism and business prudence.
Ad hoc financial analysis as the individual sees necessary to guide the strategic and financial decision making of Vitality USA, as well as requested by the CEO, CFO or other key stakeholders
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
5 to 10 years accounting/finance experience, most recently in a management role.
CPA eligible, Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
Technical accounting research and memo writing
Advanced excel skills for financial modelling and process excellence.
A motivated and positive team member who grows and increases their skills and the skills of their team
Preferred but not required:
Experience in in a software or health technology business (preferred but not required)
SAP S/4HANA
Prophix
Knowledge of software development including measurement of efficiency and output
Knowledge of the healthcare industry
