Job Description
In situations of NHA vacancy, serve as onsite executive for all operations, acting as contact for all staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public.
Provide added support as needed to incumbent nursing home administrators, including but not limited to onboarding, training, leadership, and management coaching.
Review and monitor survey readiness and verify that the community is in compliance.
Work with residents, families and the community to ensure that residents are at appropriate levels of care.
Manage budget and cash flow, maintain budget accountability, manage occupancy and revenue expectations with sales team, aggressively anticipate and minimize negative budget variances and deficits.
Complete mock surveys as indicated.
Hire, train, discipline, and terminate managerial employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation human resources policy.
Maintain all local, state, and federal licenses.
Create an environment for pride and quality among all staff, encouraging them to their highest potential.
Maintain resident retention by working with residents and their families, dealing with any issues that arise.
Lead staff meetings.
Ensure that all proprietary, financial, and resident information is kept confidential.
Monitor and record petty cash disbursements and reconcile to replenish.
Participate in accounts receivables and bad debt reviews.
Process/file workers compensation claims.
Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
