What You Will Do
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing policies, processes, and resources for managing the Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center’s (IHTC) projects, providing guidance to IHTC managers and assigned project leads on setting up projects in accord with project management best practices, delivering basic project management training to IHTC employees, collaborating with other department leaders to develop projects and programs for approval by the IHTC Technology Governance Steering Committee or Senior Leadership Team (for projects that do not have a technology component), and overseeing and reporting on the Center’s project portfolio performance.
The Opportunity
Collaborate with department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects, including budget justifications and obtain project approval from the IHTC Technology Governance Steering Committee or Senior Leadership Team (for projects without a technical component) and budget approval through the annual IHTC budgeting process. 
Provide guidance to project leads and teams on accurately planning, setting up and documenting the project's creation, development, and execution.  This includes documenting the project's goals and objectives, scope, budget and setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables. 
Monitor the execution of projects, ensuring the project leads and team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently and in accord with project management best practices. 
Continuously evaluate the IHTC project portfolio, including analyzing financial data, risks, and resource allocation. 
Report on the approved IHTC project portfolio to ensure projects are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines, including providing routine project portfolio performance reports to Executives/Management (i.e., financial/budget, schedule, scope, quality performance). 
Draft new and improving existing IHTC project management policies, processes, and resources. 
Limited travel to include attendance at project management professional conferences.  
Requirements
·        Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
·        Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or master’s certificate, or equivalent experience.
·        Minimum of five years’ recent experience in the healthcare industry (preferred).
·        Minimum of five years' experience in leading successful projects and project teams.
