Research Coordinator

About this position
This role presents a unique opportunity to actively participate in a clinical trial focusing on addiction psychology, health disparities, and culturally sensitive treatment approaches.
Job Responsibilities
Engage in comprehensive study recruitment and enrollment activities targeting Spanish-speaking and Black adult populations.
Conduct outreach efforts, including posting flyers, making screening calls, and scheduling and conducting study assessments, either remotely or in person at Boston Medical Center.
Support data collection, scoring, and entry processes, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
Maintain accurate participant logs and manage scheduled visits efficiently.
Oversee payment procedures for participants in a timely manner.
Conduct qualitative interviews, assist with data transcription and coding using NVivo, and contribute to basic data analyses using SPSS.
Coordinate updates to the study team website and assist with grant progress reports and applications.
Aid in manuscript preparation, including formatting in APA style and facilitating submissions to the Institutional Review Board.
Skills/Requirements
Fluency in Spanish (Native speakers strongly encouraged), along with proficiency in English.
Demonstrated experience (1-3 years) in a research-related role, with a keen eye for detail.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively within a culturally diverse team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
Strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field preferred.
Willingness to accommodate occasional evening/weekend work requirements and travel to study sites.

Hybrid work environment after training
3-month contract with the possibility of extending/converting
Pay/Salary Range:
Pay Range: $20-$23/hour.
