Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented Civil Engineer -Transit & Rail to join our World Class Rail Team in Boston, MA. Here you will serve as technical resource and will be part of a multidisciplinary team required to deliver complicated passenger rail and transit facilities, including bus, track, systems, structures, tunnels, stations, and potentially maintenance and storage facilities and/or capacity expansion. Responsibilities & typical duties;
Will provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Will develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
Will participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Will develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Will use expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
prepare technical specification sections.
Will provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
