We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Tech to join our team. As a Sterile Processing Tech at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of medical equipment and instruments used in patient care.
Responsibilities
Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following established protocols and guidelines
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage
Assemble and package instruments and supplies for sterilization
Monitor and operate sterilization equipment
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes
Prepare and distribute sterile supplies to different departments
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper handling and storage of sterile supplies
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Participate in training and orientation of new staff
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CST) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Tech
Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures
Familiarity with operating and maintaining sterilization equipment
Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Experience Required: Two years of sterile processing experience and 1 year previous travel experience; decon, assembly, scopes, sterilization, transport,
Pay Rate: $1440-$1600 weekly
Certificate required: CRCST
