Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Engineering Intern to be based in Piscataway, New Jersey.
This position is expected to begin in May/June 2024.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performing routine fieldwork, working under close supervision of field task leaders. When conducting field-based work, expected work hours are 6:00/6:30 AM (arrive onsite) through mid- to late-afternoon (site departure).
Ability to perform field work in possible inclement weather, requiring walking on uneven terrain, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment that may weigh up to 20 lbs.
Develop knowledge of job-specific federal, state, and local laws and regulations and assigned job specifications.
Collecting and analyzing data under the supervision of an experienced scientist/engineer.
Preparing progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Attending meetings and reporting on project tasks.
