The Role
illuma is seeking a skilled, thoughtful and motivated Director, Agency Development.  The primary responsibility for this role will be to build and lead strategic partnerships with agencies and advertisers. The Director, Agency Development, will be responsible for identifying partnership opportunities and building out preferred, strategic and contractual relationships with key agency  and advertiser partners.  Revenue generation and facilitation will be the primary focus for this role, partnering with illuma’s activation sales team, as well as identifying additive partnership opportunities, establishing new deals and strengthening relationships across the industry. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing organization disrupting and innovating in the Advertising Technology space.
This role will incorporate elements of sales, business development, commercial oversight and product strategy.
Requirements
Manage commercial relationships with major agency holding companies, operating companies and independents
Manage and grow existing strategic partner relationships
Evangelize illuma’s market-leading suite of solutions across the ecosystem
Partner with Agency and Advertiser sales functions to accelerate business success
Collaborate with Marketing on market positioning and sales collateral 
The Candidate
Strong Agency network contacts with experience navigating complex organizations
A successful track in sales and revenue generation/facilitation in Advertising Technology
AdTech subject matter expert across media buying, selling and data/technology
Autonomous and motivated revenue-minded operator
The ability to navigate complex organizations and a talent for consultative selling
Effectively prioritize and operate in moderate ambiguity and fluidity
Can synthesize complex themes into simple and succinct applications
Ability to analyze and articulate information with product team
Collaborate with multiple internal support teams
Strong presentation and communication skills (face to face +  virtual)
Bachelors or Master’s degree
8+ years’ experience in internet media/technology sales
