Accounts Administrator

As Accounts Administrator you will be primarily responsible for the accurate and timely organization of documentation and recording of transactions, within shipping and receiving, sales order generation, job costing, inventory, fleet management, and any other administrative tasks. This position will also serve as the Customer Service Administrator back up for the local Memphis, TN business.
Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document management
Works within the company’s ERP System (Sage 100) to complete data entry and transactions. Tracks and records key metrics within the company used to track the efficiency of the Business.
Provides timely and accurate information in regard to customer order status and product requests.
Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures. Including generating sales to existing customers.
Processes purchasing transactions (buying) within the Business.
Responsible for managing all outbound and inbound shipments, including completing daily receiving entries.
Works closely with accounting department to research and solve invoice or payment discrepancies
Requirements
Demonstrated experience working with generally accepted accounting principles
Experience with Microsoft Office applications with above average skills in Microsoft Excel and can use Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with SAGE 100 or other Sage Software products is preferred, however must have experience working within an ERP System.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to interface and discuss issues with all levels of the organization and various functions including Operations management and Finance and Accounting.
Must be detail oriented and well organized to balance and prioritize work
