Their team is their greatest asset, and I am currently seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Technician with Security Clearance (SC) to join their growing team on an ongoing temporary basis.
Position Overview:
I am looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Instrumentation Technician with Security Clearance (SC). In this role, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems that are critical to operations. You will ensure these systems operate efficiently and accurately, adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and commission electrical instrumentation and control systems.
* Perform regular maintenance and calibration of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control system issues promptly.
* Conduct routine testing of systems to verify proper operation.
* Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
* Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Recommend and implement upgrades to improve system performance.
* Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.
* Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician.
* Strong knowledge of electrical instrumentation and control systems.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and manuals.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Relevant technical certification or degree is preferred.
Rate negotiable dependant on expereince.
