Job Description
As a Silicon Validation Engineering Intern, you will be an integral part of our dynamic engineering team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our cutting-edge silicon products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the validation process of semiconductor devices, working alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of validation plans for new silicon products, including CPUs, GPUs, ASICs, or other integrated circuits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, verification, and manufacturing to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive validation strategies.
Conduct various validation tests on silicon prototypes and pre-production samples to identify and diagnose functional issues, performance bottlenecks, and reliability concerns.
Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other test instruments to perform electrical characterization, signal integrity analysis, and performance benchmarking.
Document test procedures, results, and findings in detailed engineering reports and contribute to the continuous improvement of validation methodologies.
Assist in debugging and troubleshooting silicon issues, working closely with design and verification engineers to implement effective solutions.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of automated test frameworks and validation scripts to streamline the validation process and improve efficiency.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in silicon validation, and actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions within the team.
