JOB DESCRIPTION
The Regional Schools Coordinator (RSC) plays a central role in the management of Uncommons 53 schools by providing communications and operations support to a Regional Superintendents (RSI) directly. Uncommons RSIs develop and manage principals and oversee instructional and academic programs. The duties below represent some of the responsibilities of the RSC. As the work evolves, new responsibilities will be added. We are looking for someone who is excited to help us work more efficiently and effectively through their communication and operations support!
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead communications with key stakeholders by writing and editing email correspondence and other written materials on behalf of the RSI
* Ensuring the RSIs time is maximized by expertly running the RSIs calendar through prioritization of appointments, and arranging in-person and virtual meetings
* Tracking, prioritizing, and holding accountable RSI and principals for tasks and project milestones to ensure progress to deadlines
* Leading preparation of meeting agendas, materials, and logistics for key meetings e.g. check-ins, professional development sessions, and regional principal meetings involving the Chief Schools Officer, principals, and senior leaders across Uncommon
* Conduct analysis of student achievement data and staff survey results
* Perform general administrative duties including photocopying, mailing, meeting support, and tracking and preparing expense reimbursements, as needed

* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, and able to learn new computer systems quickly
* Bachelors degree required

COMPENSATION FOR THIS POSITION:The starting compensation for this role based in Rochester, NY is between $19.57/hr to $23.03/hr and generally, we expect that qualified candidates in this location will be made an offer of$19.57/HR. The starting pay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. Because we value staff staying in their roles over time, we do not currently cap salary ranges.
