JOB DESCRIPTION
886 bed Level One trauma center
Responsible for recovering post-op adult patients.
* Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced nursing environment with a wide variety of post-op patients.
* High volume and acuity PACU in a level 1 trauma center.
* Positive attitudes and direct communication are the unit standard.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently needed.
Need: PACU experience required, ICU experience preferred, AHA ACLS and BLS for required
QUALIFICATIONS
* BLS and ACLS
* National Institutes of Health (NIH)
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
* The ability to stand for extended periods.
* Strong technical skills.
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* Requires a minimum of two years of current RN PACU experience.
* Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
* Active unencumbered New York RN state license
* Two years of Epic experience
REQUIREMENTS
COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

* A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
* Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
