JOB DESCRIPTION
886 bed Level One trauma center
SCHEDULE:12 hours shift D/N
* The OR cares for a wide variety of patients.
* Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center).
* There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services.
* The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.
QUALIFICATIONS
* BLS and ACLS
* National Institutes of Health (NIH)
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
* The ability to stand for extended periods.
* Strong technical skills.
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* Requires a minimum of two years of current Surgical Tech experience.
* Graduate from a fully accredited Certified Surgical Tech program
* Active unencumbered New York Surgical Tech state license
* Two years of Epic experience
REQUIREMENTS
COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
