Delivery Driver

YRC Trucking Ltd. located at #3-43925 Chilliwack Mountain Road, Chilliwack,BC, V2R 6B5 urgently requires one permanent & full time delivery driver. We welcome and encourage youth, new immigrants, and aboriginal candidates toapply.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

*Operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks for thetransportation of various products depends upon our vendors.
*Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
*Strategizing delivery itineraries and service routes.
*Loading and unloading cargo, goods, or merchandise.
*Providing exceptional customer service, while delivering them alongestablished routes, being patient with our clients in helpful manner.
*Recording essential information regarding pick-ups and deliveries, vehiclemileage, fuel expenses, and promptly reporting any incidents or issuesencountered during the course of duty.
*Possibly scanning and sorting freight or cargo as part of the delivery process.
*Optionally assembling, installing, or setting up delivered goods ormerchandise if included in our service agreement with the vendor.
*Potentially maintaining communication with central dispatcher lead driverusing mobile communications equipment.

Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary Education is required.
Experience: No experience is required. On job training will be
provided.
Language: Basic English is required.
Credentials: Class 5 Licence is required
Number of Positions: 1
Salary: $18.50/hour for 40 hours per week along with 4%vacation Pay.
