Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
Making collection calls and performing follow-up activities for customer payments and identifying slow-paying customers.
Managing customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
Safeguarding customer data and ensuring the accuracy of records.
Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement.
 
Requirements
 
Associate's degree or equivalent      
3+ years’ experience in accounts receivable and collections
Experience in driving process improvement and collection actions
Develop and implement collection baselines and goals
Develop collection strategies to prevent bad debt and improve recoveries
Control and reconcile placements and recoveries
Proven ability as an effective communicator across different personalities and multiple roles/functions both within and outside of the company
Ability to be extremely proactive and effective despite potential roadblocks
Ability to travel up to 20%
