Title - Electrical Engineer
Hours - 7.30am-4pm Mon-Thurs & 7.30am-1pm Fridays
Salary - £38,000pa
Location - Worksop
Role - Permanent
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful electrical engineer to work for a manufacturer who have been established over 100 years and who pride themselves in delivery excellence, due to a steady increase in business they are now looking to recruit an electrical engineer to join the engineering teams where your responsibilities will include:
Attending breakdowns,
New installations,
Carrying out overhauls on machinery,
Completing remedial correctives and improving the plants availability and reliability.
Ensuring planned preventative maintenance (PPM) is carried out,
Reducing risk of downtimeIt is expected that the successful electrical engineer should:
Be a timed served Electrical engineer. You will hold electrical qualification (i.e.. City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3 minimum). 18th addition.
Have a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment.
Have good electrical maintenance background and be competent to work on medium and low voltage systems, DC equipment, overhead cranes, large rotating machinery, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Be a team worker and be flexible with an open attitude, work will include assisting with mechanical work as required.
Have be experience in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Have experience in panel wiring.
Have a proven track record in these areas,
Be multi skilled, be flexible in working hours and must be capable of working unsupervised.
