Job Title: School Catering Assistant
Location: South Essex, SS9 Postcode
Contract Type: Temporary, Hourly Paid (5 hours per day)
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Are you passionate about providing nutritious meals to students in a dynamic educational environment? We are seeking a dedicated School Catering Assistant to join our client at a secondary school in South Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following school guidelines and dietary requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
Support the Catering Manager in daily tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements:
Previous catering or kitchen experience is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
All candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid DBS certificate.
