Pastoral Worker

Do you have previous Pastoral/Behaviour assistant experience working with teenagers, or children who sometimes display challenging behaviours? Do you have experience supporting behaviour within a Secondary School? My work force partner secondary school in Bradford BD5, is currently seeking to appoint confident PASTORAL support assistants to work with students on a DAILY BASIS.

The job title has many names and is often called Behaviour Support Worker, Behaviour Support Assistant, Specialist Learning Assistant, Behaviour Mentor and Behaviour Buddy

Working as a PASTORAL Support Assistant within this mixed comprehensive secondary school in Bradford, you will be expected to have experience supporting students with additional learning needs, and challenging behaviour across KS3 and KS4.

This position is initially being offered on a full-time temporary basis, with longer term prospects for the appointed PASTORAL Support Assistant. You will be fully supported by the school and the Pastoral Lead within this position and will work directly with the team to assist those students’ needing assistance.

Both experienced Pastoral support assistants, and graduates (Cover Supervisors/Teaching Assistants) who have worked within secondary school settings are welcome to apply for this position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
