Regional Growth Director (Middle East)

The Opportunity:

ISR are working with an exceptional Californian tech scale-up to appoint a Regional Growth Director for the Middle East region. Specialising in Vision AI, you will build out their presence across multiple potential sectors (e.g. Transport, Security, Public safety) in government clients in the region as part of a global growth plan.

It will be your role to build direct and indirect opportunities through developing a channel partnership program and generating relationships in public sector infrastructure clients across UAE / KSA / Qatar.

Whilst the role will entail 75% business development (conceptual sales) activities, it will also be a 25% requirement to have oversight of operational to implement pilot projects and contracts.

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer in the US you will be responsible for building relationships at the very highest levels in government clients in the region…… an existing client network in UAE and/or KSA and/or Qatar, along with a set of senior stakeholder relationships in government is a pre-requisite.

The expectation is that you will be known and carry a profile in the region for developing business in a Tech sector from a Vendor, Integrator or Consultancy perspective.

Applicants will be screened against the following:

Essential:

* Located in the Gulf region (or previously) with ability to travel throughout

* Experience of developing business in the region in a tech space e.g. Consultancy, Direct Sales, Channel

* Existing senior relationships in government clients in the Gulf region

* Fluent English speaker

Preference:

* Arabic speaker

* Knowledge of Public Safety, Security or Transport verticals

* Experience of highgrowth tech environments
