For this company active in the logistics industry, we are looking for a motivated Finance Manager who will lead a team of 4 experienced accountants.Originally a mid-size local player, the company has been acquired by one of the world leaders in their niche. It can thus serve both local and international customers and offer them a service that matches their specific needs!The job is based in Mouscron. Occasional trips (2x/year) can be expected.Finance Manager - The RoleThis job's core responsibility is the handling of the financial management for some of the group's entities in Belgium and abroad (2 countries).You will report directly to the group's CFO and local upper management.This includes:
- Creating budgets, forecasts, monitor variances
- Monthly reporting to the CFO
- Ensure a timely and accurate view of the company's financial situation
- Supervise a team of 4 accountants
- Assist in the development and implementation of new tools that will further help automatizing processes.
- You have at least 7 years of experience in similar roles, including some management experience
- A previous experience in logistics is a plus, but not compulsory
- You have obtained at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or in a related field)
- You are fluent in English and Dutch, French is a big +.
- You live at reasonable distance from the company's Belgian office.
