About the company- My client is one of the most recognised and respected names in its sector. They have been established now for 40 years and have offices in several locations across the UK. With successful businesses in demolition, enabling works, drilling and remediation of contaminated land my client has recently started making waves in the Civil Engineering contracting sector.
They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in its early days. This is a great opportunity to see the business grow and be part of that journey.
About the role- As principal contractor on these schemes I am looking for Project Managers with either a Civil Engineering degree or trades background to manage schemes in the North West and Midlands. You will be responsible for earthworks and remediation/enabling works.
Duties are listed below-
To manage the overall project site, personnel and plant Providing leadership and pro-active management to ensure HSEQ performance Maintain client relationships to ensure successful contract outcomes, Production and presentation of monthly progress reports, Ensure that contract programmes, Stage programmes and weekly schedules are undertaken with sufficient detail, Verifying costs on a weekly basis and ensuring that time targets are met ,Assisting the commercial team with the preparation of valuations on a monthly basis, Establishing and monitoring KPI’s for given tasks, Liaising with the client’s representatives on contractual issues Ensuring that all relevant notices are issued to the client’s team in line with contract requirements, Ensure that subcontractors procedures are adequate and adhered to, Ensuring that Method Statements Risk assessments and job briefings are prepared and implemented.
