We’re looking for a dynamic and highly organised Administrator to join our close-knit and dedicated team of professionals to play a key role in delivering a first-class HR service covering the full employee lifecycle.

The Role

You’ll be involved in a wide range of activities so this is a great opportunity to expand your experience, whilst liaising with managers and external providers to coordinate and deliver on the HR requirements in support of managers, employees and volunteers…

* Handling HR queries over the phone, face to face and via email

* Providing information about hospice polices and procedures to managers and employees

* Ensuring all employee and volunteer professional registration details are current and up-to-date

* Collating payroll information for submission to payroll department

* Administrating recruitment and selection activity

* Preparing and issuing offer letters, contracts of employment and volunteer agreements

* Processing pre-employment and pre-volunteering checks including right to work, DBS and Occupational Health

* Processing leavers’ files and documentation

If you're right for us you'll have...

* A good standard of general education to a minimum of GCSE grade C / 4 – A* / 9 (or equivalent level experience in an administrative setting)

* Administrative experience in a busy office environment in a HR and L&D context

* Working with confidential and sensitive data

* Computer skills - confident with MS 365 (Outlook, One Drive, Sharepoint, Teams, Office)

* The ability to travel independently to both St Ann’s Hospice sites (Heald Green and Little Hulton)
