The provider offers residential homes, education and other support services to enable children's young people and young adults to live an amazing life as independently as possible.

Your key responsibilities as the Senior Residential Support Worker:

As the Senior Residential Support Worker, you will support the day-to-day care and support needs of individual child / young person which will include personal care needs, supporting them in their daily routines, communication, independent skills and leisure activities. This must be undertaking with an empathetic attitude and willingness to be supported by a team and take direction from House Managers and managers. You will be required to undertake the administration of medication, support and co-ordinate key workers and in the absence of the House Manager lead the shift for short periods of time.

Essential Requirements:

Level 4/ Level 3 QCF/NVQ Health and Social Care or Level 3/Level 4 Children's & Young People's Workforce / or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of Ofsted Quality standards and Children's Homes regulations.
Extensive knowledge and experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Experience of managing a staff team; supervising and completing appraisals with staff in a care settingBenefits:
