Care Team Leader

37.5hrs per week

Dutton Recruitment are working in partnership with one of our valued clients to recruit for a Care Team Leader to join their team. You will be working in a service which supports adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and behaviours that challenge and be responsible with the other team leaders for supporting the manager to run the service and oversee quality. The service is split into 5 apartments on the same site and under the same registration and has a team of roughly 45 staff. The role is a permanent position, 37.5 hours a week and will involve working on a 4-week rolling Rota which includes weekends and a mixture of early, lates and long day shifts.

As a Care Team leader, you will be responsible for carrying out duties which include:

· Conducting risk assessments and audits.

· Supervision and appraisals of the teams.

· Staff recruitment and retention.

· Ensuring staff encourage and support the people being supported to expressing their needs, views, and concerns, enabling them to make choices and decisions and to participate as fully as possible in planning and decision-making processes.

· Working to the CQC framework

· Ensure the ongoing safety of the people being supported, team members/colleagues and visitors.

· Finances and budgets

· Attending PCP and service user meetings.

· Ensuring PBS is part of everyday practice and culture.

· Lead completion of induction programs, training, KPI's and competency assessments, attend weekly training meeting.

· Leading by example demonstrating best practice to your team.

To be considered for this role you must have experience in support in a supervisory capacity i.e. shift leader, senior, team leader. You must have a minimum of your Level 3 qualification in health and social care and be passionate, driven, flexible and have initiative. You will need to be a car driver and owner and be happy to work on a 4 week rolling Rota to include weekends.
