Maintenance Mechanic

TECH 2 Split Shift (65k -75k).
TECH 3 1stt shift ($77k - $87k)

QUALIFICATIONS:
* TECH 2 (3-5) years of maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, pneumatics, and general maintenance) required.
* TECH 3 (5-7) years of maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, pneumatics, and general maintenance) required.
* Mechanic experience in a food manufacturing plant.
* Familiar with OSHA regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintain plant and plant equipment including but not limited to mixers, production belts, slicers, pallet jacks, pneumatic pumps, dish washers, and ovens.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and processes.
* Work with vendors to ensure availability of prices of replacement parts /or services.
* Perform emergency and routine repairs as needed.
* Adhere to the plants Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans.
* Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
* Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Frequently standing, walk, stoop, crouch and climb steps.
* Required to handle or use objects, tools or controls.
* Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, for 50+pounds assistance must be utilized.
* Must be available for flexibility of scheduling.
