£40,000 to £45,000 DOE + Healthcare + Life cover + Pension + 25+8 days holiday

42 Hour Week. Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:30, Friday 07:00 to 14:00

ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION MANAGER WITHIN A PLASTICS MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT?

Production Manager sought within a specialised plastics manufacturing business due to ever increasing demand for product with foresight of further increase in demand.

The role will be suited to candidates with Production Management and Planning knowledge. You must have experience working to H&S guidelines. Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP will be advantageous. Experience with Plastic manufacturing machinery and CNC machinery sought, Vacuum forming experience is ideal.

Working with the Operations Manager and reporting to the MD you will be tasked with managing all operators to production targets assuming ultimate responsibility for and overseeing quality of products and production planning in coordination with quality and planning personnel. You will also be working on an ongoing basis to make improvements to productivity, reduce costs and improve general efficiencies across the business by best utilising all resources and maximising potential from each cell.

Production Manager:

* Production Management experience within a diverse plastics manufacturing environment.

* Production Planning experience with knowledge of production planning software, i.e. ERP, MRP, SAP, CRM software or similar.

*KPI and personnel management experience

*Championing H&S on site

*Knowledge of COSSH and HACCP

*From a Plastics Manufacturing Background

*Vacuum forming experience advantageous
