Sales Engineer

Confident, Sales Engineer required for large established manufacturing company based in Stourport
This exciting opportunity is looking for a key member of the sales team to build close relationships with customers in dealing with sales enquiries, producing accurate and competitive quotes.
Working with a new and existing customer base with commercial support.
Main duties of the role will include:
_ Initial customer contact via telephone, email and face to face
_ Managing and understanding and interpreting customer requirements
_ Processing customer enquiries
_ Production of quotations/tenders in a timely, detailed and accurate manner.
_ Follow up quotations in a timely manner to secure profitable orders
_ Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications.
_ Provide pre-sales product education to new and existing customers
_ Ensuring orders are processed quickly and that clear and accurate information allowing for design and manufacturing is passed to the relevant department
_ Ensuring that customers are kept informed of order (contract) status and that any issues are resolved quickly
_ Supporting the Contracts, Engineering and Production departments
_ Building relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their requirements.
_ Maintaining accurate up-to-date records of enquiries, quotations, orders and customer activity via Sage CRM
The right candidate would ideally
_ Hold relevant sales engineer experience
_ Experience working within a busy manufacturing environment
_ Maintaining accurate up-to-date records of enquiries, quotations, orders and customer activity via SageCRM
_ Confident to pursue new business opportunities
_ Happy to attend occasional site and customer visits
_ Excellent communication skills
Hours Monday to Thursday 7.30m to 4pm, Friday 7.30am to 1pm
Salary: Up to 35k
