The HSQE Advisor will travel to various sites across Scotland to report on health and safety.

This company are one of the largest civil / construction companies in the UK with over 500 employees covering predominantly Scotland.

Specialising in everything from early-stage vegetation and feasibility to civil engineering and track cleaning / electrification.

This role offers the chance to manage HSEQ across the Scottish sites, working on both new and existing contracts and projects.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Maintain injury free workplaces where everybody goes home safely
• Ensure safe working in all company workplaces without harm to people, property or the environment
• Provide company management with Competent EHS advice and guidance
• Ensure the continuous Improvement of health, safety & environment
• Drive a culture of safety throughout the business and sites.
• Production, review and monitoring of safety documentation specific for the site.

Qualifications
• NEBOSH Certificate
• IOSH membership
• Quality and Environmental Management Systems experience
• Three years practical experience in railway industry
• Sound knowledge of the H&S requirements of legislation, Railway Group and Railway Company standards
