The Role: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our Computing department, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and effective computing instruction. Responsibilities include:

* Planning and delivering dynamic and interactive computer science lessons that cover a range of topics, including programming, algorithms, and digital literacy.

* Creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration, problem-solving, and creativity.

* Developing and implementing differentiated teaching strategies to support the progression of all learners.

* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their development as computational thinkers.

* Collaborating with colleagues to integrate technology into cross-curricular projects and promote digital literacy across the school.

* Contributing to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* A degree in Computer Science or a related field.

* Experience teaching computer science at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.

* A commitment to promoting digital literacy and fostering a positive attitude towards technology.

* The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the development of the Computing department.

* Experience working in a multicultural school environment (desirable but not essential).
